@_cityboysfc closed out the previous season with the last Sunday trophy of 2023, and picked up where they left off in the new year. After a 5-1-1 regular season record got them into the playoffs, a semifinal win over @brewhousefc gave the Boys a championship date with the familiar faces of Tegridy Farms, a rematch of last season’s final! Could they do it (again) on a cold and rainy late afternoon in Midtown? They could. They did. And now they’re back-to-back champs 😎 Congrats City Boys, and thanks for another great season!

While D1’s final featured two teams we’re used to seeing, Sunday’s D2 final saw two new Sunday teams—FC Big Cap and Bonesaw FC—vie for the division crown and promotion. Both teams clearly had great debut seasons, but it was Bonesaw FC that was just a cut above the rest of their D2 peers. If a PERFECT 9-0-0 record wasn’t enough, the Saw scored 39 goals, allowed just 4 all season, and recorded 5 shutouts! Safe to say Bonesaw was indeed ready. Look out D1, you got a good one comin’!
