Congrats Sporting ATL!

A 3-0-4 regular season record was good enough for a 3 seed in the latest version of Wednesday Open's top division, and newly-named Sporting ATL put the league on notice. A semifinal win against reigning champs Pink Pony Lunch Shift meant they'd face top-seeded Los Cabrazos in the title match, who themselves made their 3rd finals appearance in a row. That was followed by a 4 goal performance that handed Cabrazos their only loss of the season, and Sporting's 1st trophy in 5 seasons! D1 hasn't had a repeat winner in 6 seasons, but we like Sporting's chances in the next one.

Congrats Owls FC!

The kids are indeed alright! Owls FC is made up of current Kennesaw State University undergrad students, and with several players that actually have the word "teen" in their age, they might actually be the youngest team to ever win a league title with SOPFC. As the 4 seed, they gave D2 a cupset and beat previous trophy winners @ultratlantafc and @netsixandchill_atl to bring home their first team trophy! A special congrats to league ref @elijah.marcelin, succeeding on and off the field and on both sides of the whistle.

Congrats League of Nations!

D3 was very competitive all season, and that stayed true in the playoffs. Eventual finalists @nations_fc and @roundtripfc bon won their semi final matches over higher seeds, and both won by only a single goal. Their finals matchup was a rematch from 6 seasons ago, and this time it went to League Of Nations, who again won by a single goal. It's the squad's second trophy in team history, which is a long one - captain @Uzi37 has led the squad for 10 of their 28 seasons with SOPFC, and we're lucky to have 'em! You'll see them in D2 next season, and you can bank on them being less neutral than their Geneva counterparts.

Congrats AFC Marta!

The Women/Non-Binary trophy match was the only one of the night that featured a division's top seed, and both teams came into the game with 7 wins and a regular season tie against each other. But it was a tough night for #1s, and @afcmarta nabs their 3rd trophy in 4 seasons! @bcsbfc gave them a tough game in their 6th final, and the 2-1 win was Wednesday's 3rd game of the night that was decided by just one goal. The win also means AFC Marta is WNB's second-ever repeat winner, and they'll try to engineer a threeepeat next season!

How are Standings Calculated?
3 Ranking Points for a win, 0 for a loss, 1 for a draw. Tiebreakers in order: Goal Differential (Point Diff), Goals Scored (Points Scored), Power Index (PI).
* PI = Power Index
The Power Index is a strength-of-schedule metric that is calculated by summing the Ranking Points of each team's vanquished opponents.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
