How SOPFC Seasons Work

Starting in Spring 2026, we have standardized our annual schedule for leagues and coaching programs.

 

 

📅 Season Schedule

 

  • 5 Seasons Per Year: Winter, Spring, Late Spring, Summer, Fall
     
  • 8 Weeks Per Season
     
  • 1-2 Off-Weeks Between Seasons

 

 

⚽️ League Format Overview

 

  • 6 Regular Season Weeks + 2 Playoff Weeks
     
  • Minimum 8 games per team.
     
  • All teams participate in both playoff weeks.
     
  • Every playoff game impacts promotion/relegation.
     
  • Champions and Runners-Up earn promotion.
     
  • Lowest-ranked teams after playoffs are relegated.

 

 

🏆 League Playoff Details (Weeks 7–8)

 

  • Regular season standings determine all playoff seeds.
     
  • Automatic roster checks for both weeks.
     
  • Seeds 1-4 play top-bracket semifinals in Week 7.
     
  • Teams move up or down the bracket based on Week 7 results.
     
  • No draws: games go to PK shootouts if necessary.
     
  • Promotion waitlist determined by post-playoff standings.
