SOPFC is now recruiting energetic and hardworking team players for paid positions as Referees and Field Managers. We're looking for reliable, responsible new staff members who are passionate about soccer to help officiate, manage, and organize our leagues and pickup games as we continue to expand and unite the soccer community in Atlanta at a rapid pace.

Soccer Referees

 

Responsibilities:

  • Officiate adult league soccer games
  • Enforce leagues rules and regulations 
  • Resolve conflicts calmly
  • Identify and resolve safety issues

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a soccer referee
  • Timeliness and reliability
  • Professionalism and respect
  • Effective communication with large groups
  • Ability to handle emotional situations

 

Field Managers

 

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and break down fields
  • Check in pickup players
  • Organize and rotate pickup teams
  • Handle on-site player and Captain issues
  • Oversee referees and enforce facility rules
  • Organize and take inventory of equipment
  • Alert SOPFC staff of any issues that arise on-site
