We were pumped to see Atkins FC back in the Wednesday night league after a couple of seasons off, and the R&R was just what they needed. If their return to WNB was a bit of a cake walk, it’s because playing tough defense is their bread and butter. Atkins NEVER conceded more than a single goal in any game all season, and were D2’s only undefeated squad with a 7-0-2 overall record. The win over @jurisdoctorfc in the division final gives Atkins their second trophy in team history and a spot back in D1, and we’re betting their days in the lower division are toast. Congrats on the trophy and promotion, and best of luck in the top flight next season!
